Subject: Coping repair
I have an inground plaster pool with bullnose red brick coping, the bricks are not loose (yet) but on quite a few of them the mortar joints are eroding.

How do I repair these joints?
Is there some sort of epoxy type mixture I can get and seal the joints to prevent further erosion?
Is there anything I can do to avoid costly repair before it’s too late?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, yes you can seal the coping bricks and mortar joints, with just about any concrete sealer, from your local home/hardware store - or, we sell it too! http://www.poolcenter.com/p/clear-pool-de ck-sealer-semi-gloss-1-gallon

To repair the mortar joints, just pick up some mortar - this link has a good description of repointing coping bricks. Good Luck!
